Bargaining Update #4
Your UAW Local 6000 Bargaining Team has continued to meet weekly with the Office of State Employer (OSE). Economic proposals including wages, benefits and other sections of the Contract that have a monetary value were passed to OSE on the afternoon of Thursday, September 19 with some counter proposals already being passed back and forth since then.
The majority of the non-economic Articles of the Contract have been T/A’d (tentatively agreed to) with only a small handful of non-economic items that remain outstanding.
Your bargaining surveys continue to serve the Bargaining Team in our strategy and prioritization of what is important to the Membership as a whole.
As mentioned in prior updates, the Bargaining Team does not share specific language or numbers due to the fluidity of bargaining and the Bargaining Team’s goal of maintaining open, in-depth and quality discussions with OSE.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the Bargaining Team will next meet with OSE on Tuesday, October 8.
